What is a cookie ?
A cookie is a file created by a website and stored on your computer that contains certain information such as your preferences on this website. When you visit a site that uses cookies , the site asks permission to Firefox to save one or more cookies on your hard drive.
Then when you return to the same place , Firefox returns that previously had saved cookies . This page allows you to view custom tailored to your preferences.
Cookies may also contain information to identify you , such as your name, email address, postal address, or telephone number . However , you must bear in mind that any website has only information that you give yourself . For example, a website can not get your e-mail address unless you provide the same (eg the type into a form ). The website does not have access to any other information stored on your computer.
In the default configuration , although this mechanism is invisible to the user , and you will not know if a website creates a cookie or if Firefox returns a cookie to the web site to which it belongs. However, you can configure Firefox to prompt you to accept each cookie.
Establish rules for cookies
By default Firefox accepts all cookies . If you want more control over the cookies that are stored on your computer, follow these instructions:
Select Tools > Options and open the Privacy box.
Select to close Firefox from the Keep until menu.
If you want to give to the places you trust the ability to store cookies permanently (eg , allowing a log automatically ) , click [ cookies_exceptions # Exceptions ... ], enter the site address , and click Allow.

Accept cookies from sites:

Accept cookies and block
If you have chosen to ask me every time Keep until menu , you'll see a dialog with the following options when a site tries to store a cookie on your computer :
Allow: To accept this cookie in particular , just click Allow. Use this option if you trust the site.
Allow for this session : If you want to allow cookies for the current session , but it deleted when you exit Firefox, click Allow for this session. Use this if the site does not work without cookies but do not want their cookies are stored permanently .
Deny: If you want to store the cookie , then click Deny . Use it if you do not trust the site or suspect may compromise your privacy.
Use my choice for all cookies from this site: Select this check box before clicking any buttons if you want Firefox to remember your decision and do not ask again . The site added to the window [ # cookies_exceptions cookie exceptions ] , where you can modify your choice anytime later.
Exceptions Window Cookies
Access this window by clicking the button Exceptions ... Cookies options . Here you can define exceptions to your general options for specific places cookies . Using exceptions, you can allow all cookies , reject all , or allow them to delete them but when you exit Firefox, regardless of other options that you have defined.
To add a site to the list , simply enter the domain name of the site address field of the website. Then click Ignore to reject cookies the site, click Allow to allow them or click Allow for this session to allow them from this place but remove them when you exit Firefox.
To remove a site from the list , select it and click Remove Site . To completely clear the entire list , click Remove All Sites . This will remove all the established rules and apply general settings for cookies.
Internet Explorer
To delete cookies in Internet Explorer
Open Internet Explorer.
Click the Tools button, point to Safety, and then click Delete Browsing History.
Select the Cookies check box, and then press Delete.
To block or allow cookies
Open Internet Explorer.
Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
Click the Privacy tab, and then click Settings, move the slider to the top to block all cookies or totally down to allow all cookies, and then click OK.
Blocking cookies may prevent certain pages to display correctly.
Google Chrome
By default, all cookies are disabled, but you can change this setting. If you have defined or blocked cookies on the page that displays an icon at the end of the address bar appears.

Deleting cookies :
